  • Nearby cities include Herndon, Reston, Chantilly, and Sterling. Major league security with spiked 10' fence and cameras everywhere. I was told it was Homeland Security.
  • It's CIA, I know that for a fact.
  • I thought it was CIA as soon as I saw the parking lot. The government never builds parking garages and the lots are always really full. On the North end is the data center, not huge, but fairly large for a normal office complex. If you look closely you can see the perimeter fence and lines of barrier stones to keep any trucks from running through the perimeter. They also have a complex guard station at the entrance.
  • The NRO, NGA, and DIA have parking garages.
  • I read elsewhere that this center has the mission of providing training. Cryptography was mentioned. But I assume that things like organization, management, languages, local culture and politics, and craft are also taught. I think of it as CIA University. Many other things are interesting. Lots of medium term housing is nearby, but very few bars or restaurants. Storage rental is almost on campus. Cheap gas and day care facilities are almost part of the campus. Contractor's office buildings are also nearby.
