The reason is that there's a rectangle drawn around the precise locations on Wikimapia (the exact locations are quite hard to find otherwise), and we'd like to use them to help readers who might want to look at the new statue or the old one's location. We've already been told that it has helped one editor. Am I right in understanding from the above that there's no consensus against linking to Wikimapia when there's a reason to do so? -- SlimVirgin
