The world renowned mathematics/computer science department of NYU is in this 14-story building completed in 1965. Designed by Warner, Burns, Toan & Lunde, it is clad in brown brick and dark glass spandrels. The brick piers angle out, with recessed bay of windows in between. Near the top, each bay has a half-octagon projecting window pod. The longer sides of the building are seven bays wide, with the shorter sides having three bays.
