Recently, the biggest stupa of the world has been found at Kesaria, in the East Champaran district of Bihar. Lord Buddha was on his last journey when he passed through this place from Vaishali. The following pictures take us back to Lord Buddha's days. He gave his alms - bowl to the citizens of Vaishali who were going with him. He was in poor health. He died at Kushinagar, not far from Lumbini in Nepal, where he was born.
