From about 1967 to at least the late 1980s or early 1990s, this entire property was a large plant for Texas Instruments. The Austin Seismic Center, run by TI subsidiary GSI, maintained a huge data processing facility here, supplying the computer power to allow companies worldwide to explore for oil. A Printed Wire Board facility manufacturing various curcuit boards was also here, along with many other TI divisions, departments, and businesses. Please, any other contributors specify these, if known.

TI also fabricated printed circuit boards here.
