The park site currently includes the ranch’s headquarters building, a large barn and numerous residential buildings. A replica of the Irvine family home, originally located on the park site, will be constructed and function as a branch of the Orange County Public Library.

  • James Irvine must be rolling in his grave.
  • The first two photos -- #1, undated, showing the area before it became the suburban wasteland it is today; #2, ca. 1900, showing barley harvesting -- are from the Los Angeles Public Library photo collection.
