Welcome to Yverdon-les-Bains, the second largest town in the Vaud Canton! Yverdon-les-Bains is the capital of Nord vaudois (Northern part of Vaud Canton), and is the southern gate of the Three Lakes Country in Western Switzerland. Yverdon-les-Bains is ideally centered, at the main A1 and A5 highways and trains hubs of Switzerland and Europe, in the heart of Suisse romande (Western Switzerland). Today Yverdon-les-Bains has a population of 25000 inhabitants, in a fast growing industrial, research and business environment, at only 60 minutes from Geneva Intercontinental Airport. It is also well known for its thermal facilities, well known in Switzerland and abroad. Yverdon-les-Bains is a very pleasant place for holiday, with all hotel - restaurant and camping facilities, surrounded by a very nice countryside, lakes and mountains.
