This bridge is closed on the Sunday of the Memorial Day Weekend in May for "Rolling Thunder". It is an impressive show of support for the US soldier MIAs/POWs. Also, if you are a Harley Davidson fan, this is a great opportunity to see hundreds of them, as they cross the bridge and circle the Washington Mall.
