Plaza de La Independencia (Independence Square)
Located in the middle of the city is a great place to see, its fountain and trees make it very calming in a city that is very hectic, at lunch time the "Penquistas" bring their lunches and in summer even have a little Siesta in one of its numerous seats. Do please go to a building that is round by the fountain and step inside it, it has a weird acoustic, and if you say something comes back distorted. You must visit the cathedral that is opposit.
