This ravine on the riverbank was the site of ski jump facility that operated from 1929 to 1930. It was permanently closed in 1930 when an accident caused the university to withdraw permission for the use of its property. Today, it is again part of the riverbank landscape enjoyed by joggers, cyclists and cross-country skiers that use the Meewasin trails.
