The Humboldt County Courthouse and Jail complex occupies all of two blocks bordered by Fourth Street (Highway 101 South), Fifth Street (Highway 101 North), I Street, and J Street. This facility houses the Superior Court as well as many Humboldt County Departments.

  • This was NO accident by a color-blind person. It is part of a conspiracy to make everything in Eureka boring and ugly, and to remove anything unique that might distiguish Eureka from the rest of the world.
  • I hated serving jury duty here. The jurist lobby was furnished only with old chair-and-desk-in-one thingies that were probably castoffs from CR or Zoe Barnum during a decent budget year.
  • As stated before the description was hijacked: Only this town would have the jail smack-dab in the center to welcome tourists.
