Completed in 1984, this was the last building constructed in the Cullen Center development.

Continental Airlines used this building and and the nearby 1801 Smith as its headquarters from the late 1990s until 2010, when the airline merged with United Airlines. During this time, the building was named Continental Center I.

The building was featured in the 1990 film RoboCop 2 as the headquarters of the fictional Omni Consumer Products Corporation.
