Kithore lies on the road running from Meerut to Garhmukteshwar, 28 km south-east of the former. The Anupshahr branch of the Ganga canal is the chief source of irrigation. Sugar-cane and tobacco are the main commercial crops grown here. There is a legend behind the place name. The original name of the place was Krishnapuri. Once a king by name Kamud Singh was robbed by the people of the place when he was on his way to Garhmukteshwar to have a dip in the Ganges. He attacked and defeated them and named the place Kuthaur, meaning 'an evil place.' The name struck and was later changed to Kithore.

  • salam to all readers. hi i am mohd azadar [shezi]s/o azmat ali i am from isapur but now setlled in gurgaon. maine apne bachpan ke din isapur main guzare hain. in childhood i studyed chandersheker school. and completed his gredution from machara colleage.i found of cricket. i played cricket kithore, radhana,machhara,sarawnai shampur shahjahnpur,mahalwala and many place.now i am a businessman in gurgaon hr.i missed all friends who,s spend time with me in childhood.i never forget these days.

  • This is a nice place of surrounded area/villages like Mahalwala , because it has the facility of education and source of so many things needed for a boy live in village like education . when i used to live in mahalwala i went to kithore for tutions and study after my college machra. after my secondary education i moved to meerut city for better education. i did MBA in 2009 , now i am at the good position in MNC. i miss all the friends there and cant forget the moments i spent in mahalwala and kithore while my study. I thanks all the people and my teachers to help me in any way directly or indirectly in my study n in becoming a better person. Thanks to all friends in that area.... love u all , May Allah guide u people to live peacefully and Happily.
  • Hi this is mohd nazim and I belong from kithore .and I have completed my shool ing from g m inter college .that was amazing time time I still missing good moment s .which I had spent in kithore wit my friends and my family .. I spent approx 7 years here when i was too young with my family and i did my schooling from Chandrashekhar Aazad and G M enter college as well. I really miss Kithore some time , my child hood friends and all. " Sochta hu apne ghar ko dekh kar , ho na ho ye he mera dekha hua kal chaman tha aaj ek sahra hua , dekhte hi dekhte ye kya hua " Love u Kithore .
