The stadium holds 20,000. The National Stadium is located at the intersection of Khounboulom and Le Ky Huong streets in central Vientiane, less than 1km northwest of the Presidential Palace and adjacent to the Vientiane Tennis Club. An office of the Lao National Olympic Committee can be found at the stadium, and there are several practice facilities for athletes.
