The only suspension bridge in Monterrey. It is also called "puente atirantado" due to the hanging cables that support the road structure. As a joke some people call it "puente atarantado" which could be translated as dumb bridge. It is a beatiful structure of concrete and steel worth watchig at night when it is illuminated.
Puente de la Unidad is a cable-stayed bridge designed by Oscar Bulnes that crosses the Santa Catarina River and connects the cities of Monterrey and San Pedro, Mexico.
