Holi Bazar is a place of economic importance, this place has 3 markets, Vegetable Market(west), Fish Market (North East) and Pan market meant for Bettle leaves which were exported to countries like Pakistan, Iran etc. Pan Market lost its importance during the emergency in 1971, then in a war time, ties between Pakistan were cut off.
