Ponmada Swamy Koil is a temple located in Peyanvillai, peyanvillai is a small village in Thiruchendur taluk (Tuticorin district). The God Ponmada Swamy is considered as one of the guard gods (in tamil, they say Kaaval theivam). Just opposite to this temple,an Amman temple (Amman koil) is there. Most of the natives of this region has migrated towards city. October is the month, where you can see all of them assemble in this temple for the function called Koil Kodai. |
