CLAB, or Centralt Lager för Använt Bränsle, is the interim storage of burnt nuclear fuel in Sweden. After spending a few decades in this facility the fuel can be placed in an underground permanent storage, which is being planed by SKB. During this time the residual heat from the fuel is reduced considerably.
