The Russ Engineering Center houses the College of Engineering and Computer Science, classrooms, computer labs, conference rooms, and offices. This four-story building serves as a centerpiece of engineering education and research in the community. The 173,000 square-foot Russ Center is the largest academic building on campus and provides the cornerstone of the engineering college's mission of serving its students, faculty, and industrial partners throughout the Miami Valley. This building has more than 60 research laboratories for undergraduate and graduate education and research. The Russ Center was completed in 1992 and named for Fritz and Dolores Russ, the founders of Systems Research Laboratories Inc.
