A large open-air shopping center composed of Jewel-Osco, Lowe's, Target, and many other shops and restaurants. From the late 1970s to 2001, it was the site of Brickyard Mall (read up on it at DeadMalls.com, Mall Hall of Fame, or Labelscar--good stuff), a unique three-level mall with JCPenney, Montgomery Ward, Kmart, and Jewel-Osco Grand Bazaar. The new development incorporated the pre-existing "Brickyard Square" development.
