Yeonji Park is a city park in established around an existing lake in Gimhae for the pleasure of the residence with a pond, wooden bridge, hiking trails, concession area, and a water fountain.

Yeonji park was originally was a small pond called Yeonji from Geumgwan Gaya state (CE 42-532), the center of Gaya confederation (CE 42-562). Today, Gimhae is a mid-sized city with a population of about 400,000.
