  • The building is not built atop an underground river and the parking levels do not require pumps. The Building was purchased by a private investment group, Bank Building Limited Partnership, in the early 1990's, and they continue to own the property. The building was never donated to Georgia Stete University. 55 Marietta serves as home to numerous telecom companies due to the abundant fiber network placed in Marietta Street for the 1996 Olympics. The building is being substantially renovated in 2010 and the management office will qualify for LEED designation.
