Nauka Stadium (Ivano-Frankivsk)

Stadium Nauka (Science). Capicity 8,000 spectators. It is a property of the Prykarpattya National University of Stefanyk.

The stadium has a several lanes running track. Throughout its perimeter there installed rows of benches, with the north side having few of them even covered, which usually was utilized by a press-media.

Former name "Elektron". The stadium was the main city stadium while renovations were taken place at MCS Rukh. It used to belong to FC Prykarpattya (Spartak) where it play its games in the Ukrainian Premier League and the First League. Before that the stadium belonged to another now non-existent FC Elektron, hence it takes its name.

Elektron used to be one of the best amateur clubs in Ukraine in 1970-1980s. It won various oblast competitions and successfully participated at the footall cup of Ukrainian SSR.
