It lies on very busy Nationl Higway.Very famous river ganga goes through its heart.Surrounded by Industrial area like Mokam, Barh, Barauni, Hathida etc.. Construction work of much awaited NTPC production center of 2000 M Watt capacity is almost compleeted which is just 20 km far from it.Shivnar Having A 2 primary school and a High school as well.

  • Despite of it's good location and connectivity with major rail road and water routes no such development has taken place in this village since independence. The reason is mentality of the villagers.
