Malko Tarnovo is a town in southeastern Bulgaria 5 km from the Turkish border, part of Burgas Province. It is the only town in the interior of the Bulgarian Strandzha Mountain, with the other important settlements being located on the coast. Population of the town is 1,925 people and some 4,000 in the municipality.
