Located 96 Kms from Nellore, This is the site of a mighty fortress built by the Vijayanagar Kings in the 14 century. A towering peak reaching a heaight of mts can be seen here ,which is called Sanjiva Hill because a wide variety of medicinal herbs grow on it. Sevaral ancient Pallava and Chola temples, remarkable for their architececture are worth a visit.

Udayagiri is great place, i studied in ARRGJ college from 6th to Intermidiat(1990 batch). my parents basically lives in chenni, so i settled in Chennai, working for AMERICAN CONSULATE CHENNAI, Where visas will be issued to go to USA. if any of u need any help pls contact laknika@yahoo.co.in Recently I met our class teacher Lydia hemamalini.
