Valliyakulangara Devi Temple (Kollam കൊല്ലം)

This is a very old temple.The owner of this temple was actually the Nampoothiri's of Thottathil illom, Valiyakulangara,it is said by locals.But later they transfered the temple to the N.S.S.Karayogams of Valiyakulangara,Paikkuzhi and Changankulangara.

I am in my eighties.I remember the Eduppukuthiras that were being paraded in front of the temple during meeabharani.Height of each kuthiras was around 40 feets as the kuthiras in chettykulangara.There was also Garudan thookkam at the premises of the temple.

I like this very old temple. Valiyakulangara deviyude anugraham undakatte.
