An ancient Temple with presiding deity Parthasarathi, the avadar(incarnation) of Lord Vishnu. The temple was built by King Ko Karunandadakkan in AD 864-65. Moreover, Parthivapuram was one of the four educational centres (sala) in these parts, around 1,100 years ago — others being Kanthaloor, Thiruvalla and Moozhikulam salas.
