This is the jungle in Pashupati Nath. The forest is also called Sleshmantak ban where Lord Shiva (Pashupati) played as a Kirant with his consort Parvati who took the form of a Kiratini. This is described in the popular scripture called "Swosthani Brata Katha", which is told in most households in the month of Magh (January-February).
