Rome's "Gazometro" (gasometer) is a huge metallic structure situated in Ostiense area, near the river Tiber. About 92 meters tall, it's the tallest in Europe, although it's not used anymore. Today it's one of the symbols of industrial Rome of the first decades of the 20th century and used sometimes for cultural events, as the 2006 "White Night" when it was filled of white light shining in the dark.
