Google Maps Satellite Images [updated]

Please do not add locations based on the satellite images, as the current Google Satellite images are HORRIBLY off alignment with the actual map data. If you don't believe me, try to view the western half of Calgary in Hybrid mode. (As of 2006-06-20). Half of the locations I have clicked on in Western Calgary are nowhere near where they actually are in Map mode. If Google ever fixes the images, they will be horribly off alignment in satellite mode.

But, hopefully wikimapia applies the same alignment in the opposite direction at that time.

hi... how about we add them ONLY for satellite? that's what i did with crowfoot center (NW)... and it would be a waste to move all those. just mark things in satellite mode please.

After Google Maps Update 8-9 sept 2006 I tried to shift necessary boundaries. Thanks to Jeff Ainslie, who pointed to Calgary.
But some objects will be needed to correct (in few days we'll turn on this future with registration).
