The local tradition dates the origin of the devotion and worship the patron saint of the city of Castellon to 1366. The Sanctuary, now with dignity Basilica was built between 1724 and 1766 on two of the oldest medieval. At the Museum of the images are stored XVI and XVIII centuries.
