The Poodle Dog is a great old diner in Fife (established 1903) that manages to retain a lot of the small town personality that Fife had before it became a suburban business/ car dealership sprawl of Tacoma. They serve typical diner food ( eggs, toast, hashbrowns, pie etc.) In the Poodle Dog you will see a row of old men sitting at the counter talking who are regulars there. The workers all know them and make jokes back and forth with them. Its a great place to go to if you're hungry and in the area. ALthough there's every restaraunt chain you can think of near here, the Poodle Dog is the best palce to go for diner food.
