The ONEC is a community-based rowing, sailing and tennis club.

"Designed by architect C.P. Meredith, the two-storey, wood frame cottage-style building, typical of the era, combined boat storage with clubhouse facilities. The wide verandah allows magnificent views of the river. It is one of only four of its type remaining in Canada. Access includes the ballroom and upper deck overlooking the Ottawa River."
