One of the most powerfull shivan temple in mylapore. We have samadhi of the one the great saint(siddar) in this temple which adds power and attraction to this temple. Temple authorities are renovating the temple. All our queries/worries get solved if you visit this temple. Sunday during raghu-kallam(16:30 - 18:00) seems to be one of the auspicious day/time to visit.
