-National Park
This is the second largest camp after Skukuza and is extremely popular, largely due to the prolific wildlife and for the incredible density of predators that wanders the surrounding plains.

In particular, Satara is renowned for its lion sightings and you will not spend much time here without encountering at least one of these tawny favourites. The 'lion triangle', where visitors are more or less guaranteed lion sightings lies between Orpen, Satara and Letabe rest camps.

Accommodation varies from luxuriously and fully equiped guesthouses, through a range of chalets of variable classes and sizes, down to camping and caravanning facilities serviced by convenietly situated cummunal bathrooms and kitchens.

The receiption area has a small shop which supply a collection of basic foodstuffs, souvenirs, reading material, etc. Rudimentary medical services are available. The restaurant & bar offers a great spread for a reasonable price and a neat Cafeteria caters for all take-away requirements.
