Confluence of Gori ganga and Kali Ganga. Venue of annual fair ( Mela) in every November. The Rung people of Dantu village in Darma valley stay in Jauljibi in winter months from November to April. The Nepal side of the town can be reached by crossing the river. It's also a junction of routes going to Dharchula, Askot and Munsiary.
