Canal Boatyard at Chittenango Landing (Drydock)

There were several drydock/boatyards set along side Canals of this era, ready to take on boats and barges in need of repair. The Museum at the Canal Boatyard at Chittenango Landing is a restoration of the life and times of a working boatyard along the Old Erie Canal.
