The Marian Medical Centre hospital was established on Feb. 2nd 1973. It was started as a small institution with twenty beds, two doctors and ten nurses. Now this medical centre is developed and branched with facilities of 250 beds, twenty doctors, hundred nurses, paramedical staff and with numerous units. Now the manager of this institution is Rev. Sr. Paulinose Maria. The other officials are Sr. Bency, Administrator, Dr. K.J. James, Chief Medical Officer, Sr. Merly, Matron, and Sr. Anne Felix, Principal of School of Nursing.
Departments General Medicine, Cardiology, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology,Radiology, Orthopedics & Traumatology & Physiotherapy.

The hospital have recently started a Home for Destitute
'St. Joseph's Block' for the protection and treatment of the poor and the neglected, till death.
