16200 North Highway 101, Willits, CA. Burial site of the racehorse Seabiscuit. Ranch formerly owned by Charles S. Howard & family. After his celebrated career chronicled in the Pulitzer Prize-winning biography and 2003 film, Seabiscuit was retired and put to stud at this ranch. At his death in 1947, the horse was buried near his favorite tree. The exact location is known only to the descendants of the Howard family.
