Rabodi is famous for the unity between the Hindus and the Muslims which both the communities have shown in the years that have passed.
Many years back there was a man named Rayaba who owned a well which is called as bawdi in marathi.hence forth people began to reffering the place as the place of rayabas bawadi hence the word "RABODI"

  • hi , i stay in 2nd rabodi, in Panchganga society, yes the place where i stay is good ..Much of people staying in rabodi are Muslims and hindus who hav eproved themselves to stay in unity for several years.. only thing i hate is i dont like them killing descent cute animals as there are much of muton shops ..... poor goats and chickens ..... " i wish people stop eating them,, may be years will pass and decades but still...???? i doubt, allah,dev,my almighty pls bless them.. Aameen.......

  • Rabodi is a beautiful place i was born n brought up there, i still remmember how my father use to send us to school on bicycle as there were no Rickshaws and the journey was beautiful from home to my school at Jambli naka, As the population has increase, so does the difficulty of life, now not only Rabodi have heavy traffic but the whole thane city, Pollution is killing the city, hope the Authorised Authority will do something to safe Thane the city of lakes and its surrouding areas and my beautiful Rabodi.

  • Hi, staying hear last 20yers Rabodi area is located between thane central jail,saket complex and brindavan socety it is one strait road to go thane station by thane creek road, it will be better if auto Rixa will start form Panchganga soceity to cidco near by thane station.Please hlep to start auto rixa.
