Old Bynum Bridge

USA / North Carolina / Pittsboro / Bynum Road
Formerly the route of US 15/501, which is routed on the new bridge to the west, this bridge is closed to vehicular traffic. Every Halloween, the bridge is lined with Jack o'Lanterns, a tradition begun on the old Chicken Bridge, several miles upriver.

Right next to it is the remains of the very old Bynum Bridge.
