The Dell Computer Headquarters, located in Round Rock, is the headquarters of a major US-based international computer technology and manufacturing corporation. The company was founded by Michael Dell in 1984.

Dell Computers is the largest company in the Greater Austin of any type, the sixth largest company in Texas in terms of revenue, and is the third largest PC vendor in the world behind Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Lenovo.

Dell is mostly known for providing many of the computers and desktops that are based on Microsoft operating systems and other technology. They don't manufacture computers in Austin anymore since 2008, however.
