Deemed as the biggest and the most vibrant fountain in the country, this attraction at the Central Lagoon presents a stunning show with waters soaring up to 88 feet high, fireballs, exploding water rockets, and a peacock spray water screen. The Musical Dancing Fountain used to be called the Luneta Fountain at the Central Lagoon. This is designed by Philippine-born German national William Schaare.
“It was built sometime in 1968 and was renovated during the 1970’s - musically activated with brilliant colored lightning effects at night and modified it with a revolving robotic fountain with 3 degrees of motions, it was recognized to be become the most colorful and advanced choreographed fountain not only in Asia but in the whole world…” – Former DOT Sec. Alberto Lim
