the city is 10 thousand square meters, and it has 12 buildings which are totally equipped with equipment and entire library of scientific and museums.it is a large museum, better yet it is the city of the museum containing a variety of civilizations.
divided in 300 rooms in 12 buildings showcasing different cultures. The museum used to be the palace of the late sheikh Abdul Rauf Khalil, a merchant dedicated to his country who wanted to preserve the rich history of the region by scattering museums around Jeddah. The design is based on the beautiful and traditional Hijazi architecture.
The museum contains state-of-the-art installations, scientific libraries and specialized equipment.
