James McDonough and Lula Milam homestead

"Jim" and Lula Milam lived here from the 1880s until sometime in the early 1900s. They were founding members of the Reids' Prairie Baptist Church in 1890, along with Lula's parents, Jesse Wiley and Elizabeth (Dorris) Robertson. These and many other early settlers are buried in nearby Fields Store Cemetery.
