The garden centre is one with a difference. Opened in 1986, the centre has been developed extensively over the years to become a delightful day out for all the family. The premises is set in a Victorian walled kitchen garden, formerly part of the country mansion, Byrkley Lodge, which was built for Hamar Bass, of brewing fame, between 1887 and 1891.
