This is the house where Thakur Bishwanath Dev [Bhattacharyya] lived with His deity Goddess Maa Kali since the year 1942. This is the same house where the first meeting of the "BRAHMO SAMAJ" was held in the 19th century. At present the descendant of Thakur the Bhattacharyya family stays. Every Saturday evening a special prayer with Bengali devotional song "KIRTAN" is offered to the family deity Maa Kali. Kali Puja is one of the main festival event of the many side events that this house is famous for in the entire locality.
