Don Alejandro Roces Sr. Science-Technology High School (DARRSTHS) is the only Science-Technology High School in NCR with STVEP curriculum. DARSSTHS is located on Don A. Roces Avenue, Barangay Obrero Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Situated in a lot donated by the Roces family along Roces Avenue in Barangay Obrero, Quezon City. The Don Alejandro Roces, Sr. Science-Technology High School had its modest beginnings in the early 50’s as an Annex of the Quezon City High School. Its original Main Building was a former market of Kamuning.
This old building served also as a police station, a Kempetai garrison during the Japanese occupation and as the Office of the City Mayor after the last World War II. Later named after the late Don Alejandro Roces, Sr. who was councilor and newspaper publisher, it catered to first and second year students only
In 1964, Don Alejandro Roces, Sr. Annex became a complete high school and at the end of that school year, 34 students were graduated
DARSSTHS has two school publications: Flint, and Ang Krisalis. The school joins the Division, Regional and National Press Conferences, the Teodoro Valencia Awards.
