Built during the korean war, the bridge is made of inferior steel and has too few lanes for the traffic that uses it. Currently plans are in the works to replace the bridge which has just passed its 50 year projected life.

This bridge does have the cool lane shifter machines though

You guys are stupid. This is a high tech bridge with the latest bells and whistles, and even has plastic rivets made from space dust.

Currently the 11th longest cantilever bridge in the world. Will move into 10th place when the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is torn down in a few years, if it lasts that long.

The bridge is packed on Friday nights in the summer going West.

Looks like the poor old thing may be HISTORY as soon as ten years from now!
